Hi.
I'm glad you're here.

A portrait I took of myself in my college dorm room, but it looks like a studio lit photo because I know what I'm doing. I'm wearing a flatbill hat that reads "Donut" on it. I look pretty swagger.

My 2012 C6 Corvette in Velocity Yellow. The license plate reads "Under 55".

I’m CJ Clarkson, and I love the people I serve. I believe one of my greatest gifts is helping people find their ideal creative solutions. I have a rich history of working in many creative categories – from web design to branding design to photography to marketing strategy management to photography – and have extensive knowledge with a variety of programs.

I have been serving clients since I was a sophomore in high school in 2017. I have grown, shifted, and adapted in ways I never thought possible in my career thus far. My quick learning and people skills have allowed me to accelerate as quickly as I have in my career to be entrusted with the opportunities I have been given.

Aside from Graphic Design, I love what I do, and the people I'm around. Growing up in Woodland Park, Colorado, I moved to Glenwood Springs to complete my education at Colorado Mountain College and was asked to apply for their marketing & Brand coordinator position. Regardless of my lack of experience at the time in marketing and photography, they still felt like I was the greatest fit for the job due to my eagerness to learn, my already proven talent in many design practices, and my willingness to put others first.

In my free time, I enjoy working on cars and driving anything that is fast. I autistically obsess over engines. I used to help run a world-record-breaking drag race where anyone could bring anything off of the street and race. Lamborghini has always been my favorite car brand and company for many reasons. I am heavily inspired by their branding. They've always been a bit of an outrage, and I feel like they match my personality well. I mean, I did buy a yellow, manual C6 Corvette at the age of 23. Other than filling my adrenaline addiction, I did buy the car to use as a photo subject to gather more experience in car photography. You'll see it a lot on my website.

Most importantly, I believe in everything the Bible says and who Jesus, the Son of God, claims to be. I believe that the Resurrection is the most provable event in human history. The reason I dedicate myself to my work and the people I serve is because I believe it is my Biblical calling to. I am to love the Lord my God above all else, and then love my neighbors as myself. As long as I take care of those two commandments, my heavenly Father will take care of me.

My logo on a grid system showing its alignments and perfect spacing. It is a monogram, encacing the letters "C" and "J" into a water drop.

ABOUT MY BRAND

I have spent the better part of seven years thinking through my logo and how I represent myself. This isn't just a professional logo for me. This is the crest I carry on my heart, and only my greatest work bears the same mark. Work that is found on this website I am proud to call my own.

My brand breaks into four core elements, all representing different aspects:

My procedurally generated topographic texture
Water Drop - Represents Growth/Rejuvenation.
My Initials.
Positive/Negative Space.
My branded red, named "Fulfillment Red" (Represents Emotion/Connection).
